Gwen Stefani never hid a baby bump from Blake Shelton, despite a completely absurd report from exactly one year ago today. Gossip Cop noted it was untrue 12 months ago, and it remains false to this day. Unlike a website's speculative claim back then, we were rightly told at the time the entire story was "nonsense."

On December 11, 2017, RadarOnline questioned whether Stefani was having a "holiday baby." The site further wondered if Stefani was "hiding a baby bump from Blake" while walking around Los Angeles in a "baggy" red "Santa-inspired" ensemble. The outlet even suggested the No Doubt singer was carrying a purse to better "hide her baby bump."

But, as Gossip Cop pointed out last year, there was nothing about how Stefani's red outfit covered her midsection to even hint that she was pregnant. Additionally, it's true she carried a pocketbook, but the blog's photos didn't show her holding it anywhere near her belly. Curiously, the site also never explained how Stefani was supposedly "hiding" all of this from her longtime boyfriend Shelton.

The website went on to embarrass itself more when it bragged, "Stefani hiding a baby bump isn't news to RadarOnline.com readers," and then brought up a previously debunked article about the singer allegedly having a growing belly six weeks earlier when she was dressed as a mermaid on Halloween. Regardless, while 365 days ago the outlet published yet another pregnancy rumor about Stefani and wrongly conjectured she had a baby bump, Gossip Cop was told by her rep on the record the tale was nothing more than "nonsense." And it's still nonsense today.

In the intervening year since that provably inaccurate story, the site hasn't gotten better with its articles about the singer. A couple of months later, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for falsely contending Stefani suffered a "miscarriage," which put her marriage to Shelton in "jeopardy." In reality, the singer was not pregnant, and either the blog or its alleged source seemingly made up the untrue and insensitive claim.

And just three months ago, Gossip Cop again nailed the website for publishing a bogus report about Stefani being still in love with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. In addition to her public proclamations about how much she loves Shelton, Stefani's spokesperson assured us once again that the blog was fibbing. As Gossip Cop has previously mentioned, we occasionally look back at articles from a year before to show visitors that while certain outlets can initially dupe readers, Gossip Cop and time will ultimately expose their lies.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
