One of the tabloid's claims Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are living separate lives and headed for a split after 35 years together. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus claim. The longtime partners are still going strong.
According to Star, the couple recently had an "epic fight" that resulted in the actress telling her partner that "she'd fallen out of love" with him after several decades together. An alleged insider tells the magazine, "There are whispers that things between them came to a head and Goldie left after their worst fight yet. She said some things she didn't mean and regretted it later." The unreliable outlet provides zero specifics about the couple's alleged argument.
Still, the questionable source goes on to say that Hawn and Russell "have been living separate lives for some time now — and while they've always enjoyed their independence, their arrangement may have finally taken its toll." The couple has remained unmarried for 35 years, but according to the suspicious tipster, "their arrangement doesn't seem to be working anymore." The seemingly nonexistent insider adds, "They don't want the constraints that come with being married, but at the same time, if one of them has a wandering eye, the other will flip out over it."
The tabloid's account of the couple's relationship simply isn't accurate. In fact, Russell told the story of his first date with Hawn during an appearance on "Live with Kelly and Ryan" earlier this week. After fondly reminiscing about their first encounter back in the '80s, the actor ended by saying, "We've been together ever since!" Meanwhile, Russell also gushed about his Hawn during an appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" earlier this month. The actor said of his longtime romance, "It's been spectacular and [I] can't believe that it was destined to be."
Additionally, the actress frequently posts loving tributes to her partner on social media. In honor of Father's Day earlier this year, Hawn shared an Instagram photo of her and Russell, and added, "Here's to the best daddy and GRAND daddy!!" And to celebrate the actor's birthday earlier this year, Hawn wrote on Instagram, "Happy birthday baby! Your light still tickles my nose... Lucky me!"
It's worth mentioning, Gossip Cop busted Star's sister outlet, the National Enquirer, for wrongly reporting last year that Hawn and Russell had split. The claim wasn't true then and it isn't any more accurate now. After 35 years together, the couple is still very much in love.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
