George Clooney and his wife Amal are NOT sleeping in “separate bedrooms,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the claim. We’re told it’s absolutely “not true.”

According to Life & Style, things are supposedly so “tense” between the newlyweds, Clooney “has set up master and mistress suites in all his homes.” The tabloid goes on to allege that they fight “over everything,” and so the couple “got separate rooms while they were in New York together recently.” A so-called “insider” tells the magazine, “She’s a handful and it can be exhausting for George. He just wants to relax after a long day.” The tabloid’s supposed “source” notes the separate bedrooms are for “when they get into a fight they can both retreat to their own neutral corners.”

Gossip Cop wonders if the magazine’s “source” is the same person who ridiculously told the tabloid in December that Amal and George’s marriage was “over after 87 days.” Or, is the “insider” the one who Gossip Cop busted earlier this month when Life & Style ran a false cover story that claimed the couple is on the brink of a “nasty $200 million divorce.” The actor even mocked the magazine on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for it’s inaccurate reporting. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the newlyweds, and we’re told the “separate bedrooms” claim is 100 percent “not true.”
