Wonder Woman Cast GMA Video

Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and the cast of Wonder Woman appeared on Tuesday’s “GMA” to tease the highly-anticipated film adaptation of the classic comic book character. Watch the video below!

Gadot initially came out solo to discuss the significance of Wonder Woman finally coming to the big screen. “It was an honor to do this part. I’m all about strong female figures,” the actress told Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan. The Israeli star was considering leaving the industry before this project came along, struggling with the constant rejection. “Then Zack Snyder wanted me to audition for a role that I didn’t even know about, turned out to be Wonder Woman, and the rest is history,” she revealed.

Gadot was later joined by Pine, fellow cast members Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright, and director Patty Jenkins. Wright called being on the female-led set “empowering.” She explained, “We were strong. We didn’t just feel strong. We were strong. We trained every day.” Nielsen commented, “My son is going to grow up thinking strong, amazing women is the best thing there is.”

Noted Jenkins, “There’s the me that made the movie that hopes everyone likes it, and there’s the that, you know, was a Wonder Woman fan. I can’t wait to see it myself in that way.” Amidst all the inspirational remarks was also a lot of laughs, particularly with a game called “Lasso of Truth.” Jenkins, for instance, revealed it was Gadot who broke character the most, but only because she was “paired with the funniest guy of all time.”

Pine even joked that Gadot’s nickname was “The Giggler.” Strahan was then taken aback when he asked the actor his “biggest quirk,” and he confessed he still uses a flip phone. “The flip world is a whole world you gotta get into it,” Pine cracked.
