Frankie Muniz Trio DWTS

Frankie Muniz and his partner Witney Carson were joined by “Dancing With The Stars” season 19 champion Alfonso Ribeiro for a jive trio on Monday’s show. They danced to Leo Soul’s song “Good Place” during the quarterfinals. Watch the video below.

As Gossip Cop reported, last week on the Halloween edition of the dance competition, Muniz nailed a perfect score for his contemporary routine to Chase Holfelder’s “Every Breath You Take.” Carrie Ann Inaba called his performance “mesmerizing” and “riveting.” It was the culmination of all the hard work put in by the actor, who currently suffers from back pain and in the past has had several mini-strokes.

But none of those hardships mattered on Monday when Muniz and Carson again put in a spectacular performance, thanks to some help from Ribeiro, a former champ and a fan favorite. Their trio jive was the “Malcom In The Middle” star’s second routine of the night. Earlier, he had danced a Viennese Waltz to Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.”

For that routine, Muniz was awarded 25 out of 30 points. Bruno Tonioli called it “stylish” and “elegant.” Playing off the song’s name, Inaba said, “That was the closest thing to perfection,” But Len Goodman felt, “It was far from perfection.”

Following the trio, Goodman expressed that a big part of the competition is “confidence.” He added, “You are a good dancer, Frankie.” Tonioli noted how well they all worked together. “It was a great performance,” he said. And Inaba liked it as well. For it, the three dancers received 27 out of a total of 30 points during the quarterfinals.
