Fifth Harmony performed “Down” with Gucci Mane at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. Watch the video below!

“Down” was released in June and marked the girl group’s first single without former member Camila Cabello, who controversially quit the act late last year. The song serves as both the lead single from Fifth Harmony’s self-titled new album and as the very first track on the record. Though “Down” was certified gold in Canada and Brazil, it has not had much success on the Billboard charts, peaking at number 25 on the Mainstream Top 40 and only hitting 42nd place on the Hot 100 list.

Still, Harmonizers remain fiercely devoted to the group, and many are curious to see how their first album without Cabello fares. It only just dropped on Friday, two days before the VMAs, and it will be at least a week before sales data is available. In celebration of the album, which is the third for the former “X Factor” contestants, “He Like That” was released as the second single. Earlier this month, another song called “Angel” premiered as a promotional single. It was produced by Skrillex and Poo Bear, who have famously collaborated with Justin Bieber.

Over the next week, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jaruegui and Ally Brooke will go on a press tour to support the album, and will perform “He Like That” on “GMA.” This marks the first time “Down” is being performed on an awards show stage, after previous performances on “GMA,” “The Tonight Show,” and at the iHeartRadio Summer Pool Party. And though it’s their first-ever live performance at the awards show, Fifth Harmony has been a presence at the VMAs since 2014. That year, the group won Artist To Watch for “Miss Movin’ On.”

And just last year, they scored victories for Best Collaboration (“Work From Home” featuring Ty Dolla Sign) and Song Of Summer (“All In My Head” featuring Fetty Wapp). This time around, they went into tonight nominated for Song Of Summer again, as well as Best Pop Video (which they won) and Best Choreography for “Down.” Check out video of the performance below!
