Felicia Temple had an emotional audition and ended up singing with Alicia Keys on the season 12 premiere of “The Voice” on Monday. Watch below!

The 28-year old, whose dad was in The Sugarhill Gang, works as a nurse after battling cancer. During treatment, it was unclear if Temple would be able to sing again. Miraculously, she is now in remission and starting a “new chapter” by pursuing her music “dream.”

For the NBC music competition’s Blind Auditions, she movingly performed Etta James’ “All I Could Do Was Cry.” About halfway through, Keys turned around. Towards the end, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani hit their buttons almost at the same time. All but Adam Levine gave a standing ovation, too, leading Keys to ask, “Adam, what is the matter with you?!”

Levine actually said he thought Temple sounded like Keys, and the aspiring star revealed her nickname used to be “Felicia Keys” because she would sing the Grammy winner’s songs at talent shows. “I think I want to hear Alicia Keys and Felicia Keys do a duet together,” Levine said. And, well, neither hesitated.

An impromptu “Fallin'” collaboration followed, after which Levine asked, “Felicia, who do you pick as your coach?” Meanwhile, Shelton and Stefani hadn’t even given any pitches yet. But it didn’t matter. “I pick Alicia,” Temple exclaimed. Check out the videos below!
