Fate Furious Box Office Third Weekend

Fate Of The Furious continued to outpace the competition at the box office, although its chart-topping run will soon be cut off. Get the details, and check out the full Top 10 below.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Fate Of The Furious drove crowds of moviegoers to the theaters for a $100 million opening earlier this month. Audiences were significantly smaller last weekend, but not small enough to let a newcomer steal the top spot. And now the same is true for the third weekend in a row. Fate again won the box office, this time with $19.4 million. Next week, however, its streak will surely come to an end when the highly-anticipated Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 debuts.

Coming in second this weekend was Salma Hayek’s How To Be A Latin Lover. It took in $12 million in ticket sales. The Indian epic Baahubali 2: The Conclusion nabbed third place with $10.1 million. Securing fourth was The Circle, starring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson, with $9.3 million. And The Boss Baby took fifth with $9 million.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Beauty & The Beast, also starring Watson. It came in sixth with $6.4 million. Going In Style landed in seventh with $3.5 million. Smurfs: The Lost Village finished in eighth with $3.3 million, while Gifted came in ninth with $3.2 million. Just making it into the Top 10 was Unforgettable. It made $2.4 million.
