Emma Watson is not getting married to William Mack Knight, despite a made-up report that wrongly claims the couple are set to tie the knot this summer. Gossip Cop can reveal the truth.

The allegation comes from Life & Style, which blares in a headline, “Emma’s Surprise Big Sur Nuptials!” The tabloid goes on to claim that the actress has kept her relationship “quiet,” but “not anymore,” as she’s planning to walk down the aisle in a matter of months. A so-called “source” tells the outlet, “Emma is telling friends she and Mack will exchange vows overlooking the ocean in Big Sur at the end of summer.”

The magazine’s dubious insider further purports that Watson and Knight are “opting for a traditional event,” with “white flowers, an orchestra and a reception at the Post Ranch Inn.” “Emma is head over heels in love,” concludes the tipster.

But Gossip Cop investigated, and it comes as no surprise the tabloid has, once again, got its story completely wrong. A source close to Watson assures us the entire report is “not true,” as the young and relatively new couple is not getting married, nor has Watson even discussed the notion of marriage with her boyfriend. Life & Style knows very little about Watson’s personal life, and its article is not to be believed.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has busted the outlet for it’s bogus and speculative marriage claims. Just yesterday, we called out the tabloid for wrongly claiming Billie Lourd and Taylor Lautner were “talking marriage.” And shortly before that tall tale, we corrected the magazine for falsely alleging Ariana Grande and Mac Miller were planning their wedding, too. Much like those untrue stories, this latest one is equally fabricated.
