Ellen DeGeneres has responded to Kanye West’s epic rant on Thursday’s episode of her talk show. Shortly after the rapper’s wild appearance, the daytime TV host tweeted, “I never know what my friend @KanyeWest is going to say or do on my show, but I always love it when he’s here.”

During his guest spot, West answered a few of DeGeneres’ questions before launching into a nearly eight-minute monologue about a variety of topics, including his mission to single-handedly make the world a better place. The rapper’s lengthy diatribe began when the host brought up his Twitter rants and asked if he regretted any of his controversial tweets. “Nope” he quickly responded.

West went on to recount asking Mark Zuckerberg for funds to “help the world,” adding, “I feel that if I had more resources, I could help more people. I have ideas that can make the human race’s existence, within our 100 years, better.” He continued, “F**k the paparazzi. Whatever perception you have of me, starting with the truth, started with what everyone’s thinking. Start there, put some dope s**t with it.”

During his impassioned and virtually uninterrupted speech, West noted that his “dad lived in homeless shelters less than five years ago,” while his late mom “was the first black female chair of the English department of the Chicago State University.” West also insisted the #OscarsSoWhite controversy “ain’t no joke,” expressed his admiration for Picasso, Steve Jobs and Walt Disney, and claimed he can “see sounds.” He also said he planned on becoming the “Michael Jackson of apparel.”

West concluded his speech by declaring, “I want to take away bullying,” which got a major applause from the audience. He further expressed, “I’m sorry daytime television. I’m sorry for the realness.” The aforementioned highlights don’t even begin to scratch the surface of everything West expressed in his epic rant. No wonder DeGeneres later tweeted, “I never know” what the rapper will say or do on her show. Watch the full video below!
