Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are not on the verge of a split, despite a manufactured report that wrongly claims the couple are “on the rocks.” Gossip Cop can reveal the truth.

According to Life & Style, which regularly publishes inaccurate split stories about DeGeneres and Rossi, the couple are “questioning their marriage” after “endless quarrels.” A so-called “source” tells the outlet, “They’ve been trying really hard to keep their marriage together, but it seems like time is running out.” The magazine’s supposed insider goes on to contend that DeGeneres, who fights “non-stop” with Rossi behind the scenes, puts a “band aid” on their alleged marital issues.

What’s more, the publication’s dubious source further purports that Rossi gets “jealous when Ellen flirts with other actresses,” and is “convinced” DeGeneres has “so many friendships with sexy movie stars to get under her skin.” “Portia feels like she’s suffering under Ellen’s larger-than-life personality, publicly and privately,” adds the tipster, and is “tired of living in Ellen’s world only.”

Despite the outlet’s poor attempts to create yet another split story about the couple, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to DeGeneres who tells us the entire report is “untrue.” The pair share a loving and committed relationship, and Rossi is certainly not “jealous” of DeGeneres’ friendships with other women. It’s all made up.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has busted In Touch for churning ridiculous and false narratives about the couple. In April, we corrected the often disproven tabloid for falsely alleging DeGeneres was preventing Rossi from having her own career. And shortly before that tall tale, we debunked the outlet for wrongly claiming in a bogus cover story that DeGeneres was getting a divorce from Rossi. Neither report was true, and the same goes for this latest fabrication.
