Ellen DeGeneres has not been warning Justin Bieber to seek help and surround himself with a better crowd, despite an entirely bogus new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story.

As Gossip Cop reported, it was announced last month that Bieber is cancelling the remaining dates on his Purpose World Tour due to “unforeseen circumstances.” A new RadarOnline story now claims DeGeneres is extremely concerned about the singer’s well-being, and has been persistently urging him to change his lifestyle.

A supposed “source” tells the site the talk show host has become a so-called “smother mother” to Bieber, adding, “She’s desperately worried about him and has this fear that he’s surrounded by all the wrong people.” The questionable insider continues, “Ellen’s been burning up his phone 24-7, asking if she can introduce him to a better team of advisors, even help with his lifestyle choices and telling him to cut certain characters out of his life.”

The outlet’s dubious source adds, “She does care about Justin and she has a right to be worried, because he’s off the deep end right now. But she’s gotten way too overbearing… to the point where he’s been ignoring her calls and politely texting her to give him space.” Gossip Cop, however, can set the record straight.

We checked in with a DeGeneres confidant, who exclusively tells us she’s absolutely “not on him,” as the webloid alleges. This is simply a non-story designed to arbitrarily link the talk show host to a news story involving the singer. In fact, Gossip Cop busted Life & Style last year when it similarly reported DeGeneres was staging an intervention for Bieber, which obviously never happened.

Of course, RadarOnline is also no stranger to publishing bogus stories about both stars. Gossip Cop recently busted the webloid for falsely claiming DeGeneres was caught on a date with a “mystery brunette.” We also recently debunked the site’s tall tale about Bieber getting caught “singing while peeing” in a men’s room. This latest article involving both celebrities is equally bogus.
