President Donald Trump misspelled the word “hereby” in two different tweets on Friday before getting it right the third time, and many Twitter users are now mocking his spelling error. See the tweets below!

On Friday afternoon, Trump tweeted a photo of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi meeting with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in 2010, and added the caption, “I hear by demand a second investigation, after Schumer, of Pelosi for her close ties to Russia, and lying about it.” The president deleted his “hear by” tweet just two minutes later and reposted it again, but misspelled it a different way, writing, “I hearby demand a second investigation…”

As they say, the third time’s a charm, and minutes later the second miswritten tweet was deleted and replaced with the correctly spelled “hereby.” Of course, Twitter noticed Trump’s gaffe despite his original tweets being removed, and were quick to call out the mistake. “I hearby announce that Donald J Trump doesn’t know that it’s ‘hereby,'” wrote one user. Another person said, “I hereby, hearby, here by demand you resign.” And one Twitter user joked, “We went from a Harvard constitutional lawyer to a guy that needed 3 tries to spell the word hereby.”

One person quipped, “It’s not surprising Trump can’t spell ‘hereby,’ it’s used a bunch in the Constitution.” Another user said, “We, The People of The United States, ‘hearby’ – oops, meant hereby – demand you release your tax returns.” One tweeter offered, “I hereby demand the White House hire a copy editor so the president doesn’t have to tweet and delete three times.” And another individual tweeted, “The child who cannot spell and controls nuclear weapons hearby has a big burn to deliver.”

“Tweeted, deleted. Tweeted again, it’s still wrong. The word he’s looking for is ‘hereby,'” noted on user. Another person added, “I hereby demand a POTUS who can spell.” And one Twitter user contended, “In fairness, I also wasn’t 100% sure how to spell ‘hereby.’

Also in fairness, you would be out of your f**king mind to ever vote for me.” See screenshots of all three tweets below.
