Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are NOT “at war,” despite a report. Gossip Cop can debunk the claim, which comes from one of the tabloids.

The story can be found in Wednesday’s new Life & Style, which alleges “the two longtime friends have been locked in a bitter feud.” In fact, “things have gotten so bad,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “They are now truly at war.” The magazine goes on, “At issue: work ethics, her rage, his coldness — and fights about his ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson.”

“Their relationship is such a mess,” the supposed source says of Lovato and Jonas, who are weeks away from going on tour together. In one example, it’s alleged, “Nick recently laid into her and told her she’s phoning it in during rehearsals while he’s working his ass off. She screamed that he was faking his passion for music and is like a corporation.”

That, however, was “just the tip of the iceberg,” claims the magazine. The piece is filled out with claims about Jonas allegedly being upset at Lovato “taking breaks” to text with boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, while she’s said to be convinced Hudson “has said nasty things about her behind her back.” The two supposedly “ignored” each other at the Met Gala, and now the tipster says, “Nick is furious with Demi and she’s fed up with him. Their friendship will never survive the tour.”

But are these the same Life & Style “insiders” who claimed last September that Lovato and Selena Gomez were hitting “rock bottom together”? Or maybe it’s the same “insiders” who alleged the following month that Hudson was demanding Jonas “fix” his teeth. The outlet has a documented history of telling off-base tales about both Lovato and Jonas, and now this is another to add to the list.

While planning a tour can certainly be stressful at times, and Lovato and Jonas aren’t going to see eye to eye 24/7, there is no “war.” Gossip Cop is told the feud claims are “not accurate.”
