Debbie Gibson Elimination Gma

Debbie Gibson appeared on Wednesday’s “Good Morning America,” just one day after being eliminated from “Dancing With The Stars.” Watch the full “GMA” interview below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Gibson and Alan Bersten were the second pair sent home from season 25 of “Dancing With The Stars” on Tuesday. For her final performance on Latin night, the singer and Broadway actress scored 21 out of a possible 30 points for her Argentine tango to Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” but it still wasn’t enough to secure the star a place in next week’s show. Gibson follows Barbara Corcoran, who was the first contestant to be voted off during Monday’s elimination.

After being sent home from the dancing competition on Tuesday, Gibson opened up on “GMA” in a live segment from Los Angeles about her brief ballroom journey and untimely exit from the show. “I’ve been through some health challenges in the past few years and I wasn’t getting better in my house, laying on the couch and going to practitioners,” Gibson shared. The Lyme disease sufferer continued, “I said, I need to get the inspiration and enjoyment back in my life. And as brief as the journey was on the show, it was profound and it’s now a springboard for the rest of my life. I’ve reacquainted with my body and my strength again and it’s been a blast.”

And speaking of his first season as a pro dancer on “Dancing With The Stars,” Gibson’s partner Bersten commented, “It was incredible. I had the best partner, we had such a good time together. It felt good to leave on a high note.” Gibson added, “We killed our Argentine tango last night! There was no better way to go out. We were steadily progressing, and it did feel great to go out on a high note with our best scores.” Watch Gibson’s full “GMA” interview below! NOTE: The video is no longer available.
