A new report claiming David Beckham and Victoria Beckham had their "biggest fight ever" over his "wandering eye" is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the supposed marital drama. We're told it's fabricated.
According to NW, the spouses were spotted having a heated argument outside of their hotel in New York City earlier this month. "They looked like they hated each other," a so-called "onlooker" tells the magazine. "David was storming ahead and didn't wait for Victoria to catch up. It was very awkward to watch."
The point of contention, says another alleged source, is that the soccer star was all over the models at the U.K. launch of his global grooming brand, House 99. The supposed insider claims that representatives from the former soccer star's company even "suggested that the three prettiest girls be sent home so Becks couldn't hit on them" during the event.
In addition to David's "wandering eye," the questionable tipster further contends that the Beckhams have been growing apart for years. "They're not the same people they were when they first got together," says the source. "These days they have totally different lives." The "insider" goes on to say that David is "laid-back" while his wife is high-maintenance, and their relationship gets "awkward and tense quite quickly" as a result.
Gossip Cop, however, is exclusively told by a source close to the couple, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, that the report is complete "tabloid nonsense." We're assured the spouses of 19 years are still going strong and aren't having any marriage problems. In fact, David paid tribute to Victoria in honor of the U.K.'s Mother's Day earlier this week. Along with a photo of the couple and their four children, the former athlete wrote, "Happy Mother's Day to an amazing mummy to this beautiful little bunch." And days before that, Victoria shared on Instagram a photo of her smiling with David while out to dinner in New York with their son Brooklyn. Clearly they're doing just fine.
Unfortunately, we're not surprised by the publication's phony story. Gossip Cop busted NW just last month for wrongly reporting that David and Victoria were "living apart" amid a supposed marriage crisis. Additionally, we've called out various tabloids over the years for falsely alleging the Beckhams were headed for a divorce, which obviously hasn't been the case. After 19 years and four children, the spouses remain happily married. This latest article is more lies.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
