Is David Beckham really begging wife Victoria Beckham for more kids? One of the tabloids claims the father of four wants to expand his family. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we’ve exclusively learned the truth.

The former soccer star and singer are parents to three boys, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12, and one girl, Harper, 6, but the Australian issue of OK! says he wants another baby. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “David is really broody. He loves being a dad and knows he and Victoria haven’t got much time left to have another, so it needs to happen soon.”

The outlet’s supposed insider goes on to say that 43-year-old Victoria “is not sure she wants to go through another pregnancy,” despite her husband’s pleading. “Vic can be quite stubborn,” adds the questionable source. But Gossip Cop checked in with the Beckhams’ rep, who exclusively assures us that the tabloid’s story is simply not true. We’re told the parents of four aren’t discussing having more children.

It seems likely that the outlet was inspired to concoct this bogus article after Beckham posted an Instagram photo of himself holding his baby niece. Despite his sister welcoming a new child, the former athlete hasn’t developed baby fever. But don’t just believe Gossip Cop (though you should by now). Two years ago, when asked during a talk in New York whether she would have a fifth kid, Victoria herself said, “I’ve got four! I feel like I’ve done my bit.”

Unfortunately, the American edition of OK! also constantly spreads false rumors about the famous couple, so we’re not surprised by this latest fabrication. Less than two weeks ago, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for wrongly reporting that David and Victoria would split just after Christmas. Obviously, that didn’t happen. Shortly before that, we called out the tabloid for making up a phony story about David partying nonstop amid a midlife crisis. It would appear that the overseas version of the outlet isn’t concerned with publishing accurate news about the Beckhams either.
