Darby Walker The Voice Knockout Video

Darby Walker sang “Shake It Out” for her Knockout performance on “The Voice” on Monday. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, Walker had a memorable Blind Audition that included singing duets with both Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus. She chose to join the pop star’s team, and Walker won her Battle against Karlee Metzger. Now she had to show her chops again during the NBC competition’s third round.

Unlike during the Battles, Walker was able to choose her own tune, and went with Florence + The Machine’s “Shake It Out.” In rehearsal with key advisers Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, it was suggested she make it more clear what the song is about while keeping her personality in there. Meanwhile, she had to compete with fellow Team Miley member, Maye Thomas, who was singing “Closer” by Tegan and Sara.

It was predicted that it would be an “interesting” face-off since both artists have quirky styles and picked indie tracks. And interesting it was. Adam Levine actually compared Cyrus to a “stage mom” for the way she moved along to Thomas’ performance, and Shelton quipped, “This is as Miley as it gets.”

But who would move on to the Live Playoffs? Cyrus chose Walker as the winner, even though she called Thomas’ performance a “home run.” Walker actually was stunned to the point of tears. Check out the video below!
