Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz‘s marriage is not in trouble, despite yet another bogus report about the status of couple’s relationship. Gossip Cop can, once again, set the record straight on this fabrication. We’re told it’s simply “not true.”
According to the National Enquirer, which routinely publishes made-up stories about their supposed split, the couple hasn’t been spotted in public together for more than a year, hinting that they have a “rocky relationship.” The outlet then notes how it contacted both Craig and Weisz’s reps to inform them about their upcoming article, only to see the pair photographed in New York the very next day. A so-called “source” tells the supermarket tabloid, “The whole thing just seemed like too much of a coincidence,” adding, “I don’t buy it for a minute.”
So when the very private Craig and Weisz aren’t spotted together their marriage is “rocky,” and when they are photographed in public it’s a sham? Does the Enquirer truly believe the celebrity couple cares what an often discredited supermarket tabloid thinks? The answer is that the magazine simply is wrong, and Weisz and Craig’s marriage, as Gossip Cop has been repeatedly reporting, is not in trouble.
Just earlier this month, we busted the magazine when it falsely alleged Craig and Weisz’s marriage was “in crisis.” Lazily, the publication used the same quotes in its newest article that it did then, proving it has nothing new to report. Gossip Cop also corrected the outlet in February for wrongly claiming Craig and Weisz were living separate lives after five years of marriage. In that piece, the tabloid maintained the couple had been unhappy “for a while,” and was close to calling it quits. And in December, we debunked the outlet when it inaccurately asserted Craig was jealous of Weisz’s career, which was causing problems in their marriage.
Much like those baseless and fabricated stories, this latest one is equally unfounded. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop that the report about Craig and Weisz’s marriage being in trouble is 100 percent “not true.” It’s all nonsense.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
