CMT Music Awards Winners 2017

Wednesday’s 2017 CMT Music Awards honor the biggest country performances and best music videos. Gossip Cop has a full list of the winners below!

As Gossip Cop reported, the nominations for this year’s CMT Awards were announced last month. Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, and Kelsea Ballerini tied for the most nods, scoring four each. All were originally up for the night’s top award, Video of the Year. A whopping 14 artists were initially nominated in that category, but the finalists were revealed this morning, just hours before the live ceremony. While Rhett and Ballerini are now out of the running, Urban is still a contender for “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” along with Artists Of Then, Now & Forever (“Forever Country”), Carrie Underwood (“Church Bells”), Cole Swindell (“Middle Of A Memory”), Florida Georgia Line (“H.O.L.Y.”), and Luke Bryan (“Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day”).

Urban and Rhett are also up for Male Video of the Year, while Ballerini is among the Female Video of the Year nominees. She and Rhett also received nominations for Social Superstar of the Year, a new category that debuted last year to celebrate artists’ social media presence. As always, the winners are chosen by fans via online voting on CMT’s site. Naturally, though, supporters could cast their ballots for Social Superstar via hashtags on Twitter and Instagram.

Gossip Cop will update the winners list live as each category is announced, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern. In the meantime, check out all the categories below!
