CMT Music Awards Red Carpet Live Stream 2017

The 2017 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday kick off with a red carpet pre-show. Gossip Cop has a live stream below!

For the first time in the award show’s history, CMT has partnered with Facebook Live for a one-hour pre-show. Called “CMT Music Awards Red Carpet Special,” the social media site will broadcast all the A-list arrivals at the Music City Center before the big ceremony. Cody Alan and Katie Cook will preside over the feed, interviewing celebs as they arrive, spotlighting fashion, and offering commentary about the night’s big categories.

Officially, CMT is promising a “star-studded, action-packed pre-show” that will be interactive. Fans watching at home can submit questions using the hashtag “#CMTAwards”, and top artists will answer the submissions right there on the red carpet. So, just who might be popping by?

Carrie Underwood and pal Miranda Lambert will no doubt have all eyes on them as they arrive at the venue. Keith Urban may stop for a chat with Nicole Kidman on his arm, and Luke Bryan might get some camera time with his duet partner, Jason Derulo. Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall of The Chainsmokers will be two other non-country faces gracing the red carpet as CMT offers some of the crossover appeal that’s made “CMT Crossroads” so successful.

Viewers can expect first-time host Charles Esten to make a pre-show appearance, too. The red carpet live stream is slated to start at 7 p.m. Eastern, followed by the CMT Music Awards ceremony at 8. Watch the live stream below!
