Carrie Underwood Leads 2015 CMT Awards Nominations – See Full Nominees List!

The 2015 CMT Music Awards nominations were announced on Wednesday and Carrie Underwood leads the pack with the most nods. The season four “American Idol” winner scored five nominations, with two for “Video of the Year,” two for “Female Video of the Year,” and one for “Collaborative Video of the Year” for her song “Somethin’ Bad” with Miranda Lambert. Right behind Underwood were Lady Antebellum and Kenny Chesney, who received four nominations each. Interestingly, Katy Perry, Bob Seger, John Legend, and rapper Aloe Blacc were also nominated for CMT Music Awards.

Perry’s nominated for “Performance Of The Year” for a performance she did of “Roar” with Kacey Musgraves. She’s up against Seger, Blacc, and Legend in the same category. Legend performed “You & I (Nobody in the World)” with Lee Ann Womack, while Seger teamed up with Jason Aldean on “Turn the Page,” and Aloe Blacc paired with Lady Antebellum on “Wake Me Up.”

The fan-voted show, honoring country music videos and television performances, is set to take place in Nashville on June 10 at 8 p.m. This year’s host has yet to be announced. Check out the full list of nominees below.
