Are Clint Eastwood and Mick Jagger really feuding over a 23-year-old woman? One of this week's tabloids claims the 88-year-old actor and 75-year-old rocker are competing for the affections of aspiring film producer Noor Alfallah. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story.
Last year, the Rolling Stones frontman had a brief romance with Alfallah, who was spotted having dinner with Eastwood in Los Angeles last month. The situation has inspired the Globe to concoct a fake war between the legendary stars. "Clearly these old geezers are competing over Noor's affections, and Clint seems to be parading her around," a supposed source tells the magazine. "Word is, Mick finds it bizarre."
The alleged insider further contends "things could get tense" between Eastwood and Jagger as they're both pursuing Alfallah. "Some people in Hollywood are saying if these two guys came to fisticuffs, it would be a toss-up as to who would emerge the winner," adds the suspicious tipster. "There's been no brawl yet, but no one wants to be in the room next time they meet." Actually, most people would pay good money to be in a room where Eastwood and Jagger got into a fistfight, but that's beside the point.
Nothing about this story is remotely true. Alfallah herself told the Daily Mail last month that she's "not dating" Eastwood. The young producer explained that she and the actor are "family friends" and her parents accompanied them to dinner. "Trust me there's no relationship," she added. There are also photos of the actor chatting with Alfallah's parents outside of the restaurant. In reality, Eastwood has been dating 55-year-old Christina Sandera for several years. The actor brought his girlfriend to the premiere of The Mule this past December.
It's worth noting, the Globe has a habit of creating nonexistent battles between celebrities. Last year, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming George Clooney and Will Smith were feuding over jealousy of each other. Shortly before that, the magazine made up a fake feud between Ellen DeGeneres and Reese Witherspoon, who were said to be at odds over their competing talk shows. And prior to that, the unreliable outlet alleged that Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep were "at war" on the set of "Big Little Lies."
The tabloid's latest premise involving a showdown between Eastwood and Jagger is more fiction. The magazine seems to enjoy coming up with any excuse as to why two big stars might be feuding. This time around, the publication is using a 23-year-old woman, but there's no truth to the narrative.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
