Cindy Crawford is not “worried” about her model daughter Kaia Gerber’s weight, despite an inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fabrication. We’re told it’s “not true.”

The bogus allegation can be found in this week’s issue of OK!, which blares in a new headline, “Kaia Scary Skinny.” In the accompanying article, the publication claims that Gerber’s closest friends and family, including mom Crawford, are concerned about her supposedly “gaunt” figure. A so-called “source” tells the outlet, “It’s clear that Kaia could be the next big thing, but the pressure of the industry seems to be getting to her.” The magazine’s questionable “insider” goes on to purport, “She’s only 16 and already stressing about wearing size-zero clothes. Everyone is scared she’s not at a healthy weight.”

Next, the tabloid suspiciously asserts that Crawford has advised her daughter to maintain a “slim” frame, as opposed to looking “skeletal.” “Kaia really values her mom’s opinion,” further alleges the publication’s dubious “source,” adding, “So everyone is just hoping she’ll listen.” But Gossip Cop investigated the seemingly made-up report, and a rep for Crawford tells us the story is 100 percent “not true.” Crawford is not worried about her model daughter’s weight, contrary to OK!’s fabricated claim.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has busted the weight-obsessed magazine for publishing untrue stories about models and their figures. Earlier this year, we corrected the tabloid for falsely alleging Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid were in a competition over who can lose more weight. In that story, the publication wrongly claimed the stars were “vying to see who can eat the least and who can have the most ribs showing.” Of course, that article was complete nonsense. And much like that piece of fiction, this latest claim is similarly unfounded.
