Ciara is being body-shamed less than two months after giving birth. According to a certain webloid, the singer’s pre-baby body is not returning fast enough.

As Gossip Cop reported, Ciara gave birth to a daughter named Sienna Princess in late April. The baby girl is her first child with husband Russell Wilson, but her second kid. The singer also has a son named Future with the rapper of the same moniker.

Ciara delivered little Sienna on April 28. On June 14, MediaTakeOut blared, “R&B Singer Ciara Is Finding Out THE HARD WAY… That Snapping Back After Your SECOND BABY… Is A Lot Harder Than The FIRST!!” The headline further exclaims that she “Still Got That ‘BUMP.'” In the accompanying story, the site writes, “R&B singer Ciara gave birth to daughter Princess seven weeks ago – and she hasn’t SNAPPED BACK yet.”

“For normal people it is UNIMAGINABLE to SNAP BACK from a pregnancy in under two months – but not for CELEBRITIES. What Ciara is learning is that the SECOND BABY snap back… is a lot harder than the FIRST BABY snap back,” continues the webloid, which adds, “Keep working though CiCi… you’ll be back in no time.”

Something tells us Ciara isn’t looking for encouragement, or judgment, from MTO. That the outlet felt the need to build a story around the state of her post-baby body less than eight weeks after she gave birth, or at all really, is disgusting. There is no reason to judge her appearance at any point in time, and no reason to hold her to a certain physical standard just because she’s a celebrity.

And MediaFakeOut has a lot of nerve doing so, considering it falsely claimed Ciara was in labor a full two weeks before she actually gave birth. The facts-free outlet clearly cares about accuracy as much as it cares about human decency and respect. Sadly, though, we don’t expect the online publication to snap back into professionalism at all.
