Do Christina El Moussa and Ant Anstead already want to get married? That's the latest claim coming from one of this week's tabloids, but Gossip Cop can help set the record straight. We're exclusively told it's "false."
According to Life & Style, the "Flip Or Flop" star is "so serious" with Anstead that they're "talking about walking down the aisle together." In the report, a so-called "source" is quoted as telling the publication, "They would love to get married, and they're discussing it already. Christina knows Ant is 'the one,' and the feeling is mutual." The gossip magazine goes on to note that there's a "pretty serious obstacle" in the way, namely that the British television host is still married to his wife Louise.
"Ant and Louise were childhood sweethearts, and they remain on good terms," says the outlet's supposed "insider," before adding, "It's unlikely that their divorce will be long and messy." And as for Tarek, El Moussa's ex husband, he won't be "raising any objections to Christina's new romance." The tabloid's alleged tipster maintains, "Tarek has given them his seal of approval. He's pleased she's found happiness with an age-appropriate, decent guy."
But Gossip Cop fact-checked the story, and while the tabloid has quotes from an unnamed and untraceable "source," El Moussa's rep exclusively tells us on the record that the article is completely "false." Contrary to Life & Style's report, we're assured the couple is not already talking marriage. And while the "Flip Or Flop" star and Anstead are seemingly very happy together, with El Moussa sharing a photo on Instagram in February of her valentine, their relationship is relatively new, and they're certainly not rushing into anything.
Oddly, this isn't the first time Gossip Cop has corrected the magazine for publishing a untrue story of this nature about the reality star. In June 2017, we corrected the tabloid when it wrongly claimed El Moussa wanted to marry her then-boyfriend Doug Spedding.
In that made-up report, which bears striking similarities to the latest claim, the publication wrongly contended El Moussa wanted to walk down the aisle with Spedding, but the outlet failed to mention she was still legally married to Tarek. Much like that inaccurate article, this newest one about El Moussa and Anstead already wanting to get married is equally unfounded.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
