Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are not having a marriage crisis just five months after their wedding, despite a false report. Gossip Cop can debunk the phony story. The newlyweds are going strong.
The cover of this week’s Life & Style declares that the couple is “over after 158 days.” Naturally, the magazine wants those passing by newsstands to assume Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s marriage is “over,” but the inside article dials back the premise a bit, saying “the honeymoon is definitely over.” This assertion isn’t accurate either.
According to the publication, the spouses have spent the past few months fighting over a variety of issues, including money and starting a family. “While they have a lot of positives going for them, things can get pretty strained at home, and their arguments are known to be loud and intense,” an alleged insider tells the outlet. “Neither Chris nor Katherine likes to let things fester, so when there’s something they’re upset about, they really give it to each other.”
The tabloid maintains that Pratt, who shares a 7-year-old son with ex-wife Anna Faris, is ready to have a baby with Schwarzenegger, but she’s in no rush. “The way she sees it, she’s only 29 and there’s plenty of time,” says the questionable source, adding that Pratt wants the lifestyle author to be a stay-at-home mom and wife, “but she feels like she still has lots to achieve yet.”
Another touchy subject, according to the suspicious tipster, is the amount of money she’s spending and their dissimilar backgrounds. “Chris is a simple guy who would be happiest on a camping trip and enjoying a picnic on the beach,” says the alleged insider, who maintains that Schwarzenegger is “a little bit of a princess who loves the finer things in life” as a result of growing up with famous parents. “Chris has a fit every time he sees something new and expensive,” adds the seemingly made-up source.
From there, the “insider” claims the couple’s issues have resulted in Pratt having a falling out with his wife’s father, Arnold, who’s allegedly made angry phone calls to his son-in-law to “give him a piece of his mind.” The possibly fictitious source adds, “Chris hates all the drama that comes with Katherine’s whole clan. The situation with his in-laws is actually a big issue, and it’s really coming to a head now that Thanksgiving and Christmas are fast approaching.”
There’s not a single aspect of the magazine’s story that’s remotely true. E! News, a much more reliable source for celebrity reporting than Life & Style, recently published an article about Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s family plans. The reliable website noted that both are “very open about wanting kids soon.” The outlet further noted, “She’s expressed she’d love to be pregnant in early 2020.” The spouses are on the same page when it comes to starting a family, which will likely happen in the very near future.
As for Pratt’s relationship with his wife’s father, it’s a great one. A couple of weeks ago, Pratt praised Arnold after seeing Terminator: Dark Fate with his wife. Along with a photo of his wife and a ticket stub for the film, the actor wrote, “So surreal to look over at my wife as she watches her dad, @schwarzenegger reprise his role as the baddest robot on the planet, tears streaming down her face, hanging on the edge of her seat. Priceless. Way to go Arnold! The movie is fantastic!” For his part, Arnold responded, “Thank you and I’m pumped that you loved it!”
Gossip Cop first called out Life & Style in August 2018 for falsely claiming Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s relationship was in trouble. The two tied the knot less than a year later. The tabloid has simply never had any insight into the couple’s romance. A source close to the spouses assures us this latest article about their marriage is total nonsense.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
