HollywoodLife has published yet another made-up story about Chris Pratt in the wake of his split from Anna Faris. In just a span of hours, after alleging Pratt was dating a "mystery blonde," the often discredited site has completely flip-flopped and now claims the actor is "swearing off dating." Gossip Cop, however, is not surprised by the spineless move since the outlet has a track record of not only manufacturing fake news, but also contradicting itself because of its web of lies.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, HollywoodLies, as it's known, just claimed that "Chris has already met someone new." The untrustworthy site also squealed how Pratt was spotted "jetting out of town with a new mystery woman!" But rather than looking at paparazzi photos of Pratt and a blonde woman and simply concocting phony backstories about what might be going on, as that blog did, we actually fact-checked and found out from actual insiders that the woman was simply one of his employees.
Of course, once the truth emerged it was then time for HollywoodLies to cover its tracks and do what it appears to do best, which is make up yet another lie. This time around, now that Gossip Cop established Pratt has not "already met someone new," the repeatedly disproven site came up with the angle about the actor "swearing off dating." Pretending to have sources, the outlet claims it has learned that Pratt "has zero interest in dating." The only real zero here is the accuracy and truthfulness of that outlet.
As it generally does, HollywoodLies then trotted out an unnamed and untraceable source to supposedly back up its fictitious claims. In this instance, the seemingly fabricated "source close to Chris" is quoted as saying, "[Pratt] is not looking to get into a relationship in any way shape or form." The same almost assuredly made-up "source" added, "He is going to drown himself into his work and being a great father only." But what the site is really doing is making up comments that mimic what most people do following the end of a longterm relationship.
Curiously, though, HollywoodLies doesn't mention in its latest fake news story anything about Pratt dating a "mystery blonde", and how he's "already met someone new." Basically, despite the site's name it often knows very little about the lives of Hollywood stars. Regardless, Gossip Cop fact-checks every claim and we're once again assured that no one "close" to Pratt is furnishing information to a fake news manufacturer like HollywoodLife.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
