Chris Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky, is furious over his so-called "boozing," reports one of this week's celebrity magazines. The story is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
According to Woman's Day, the actor got out of control while promoting Men in Black: International in Bali last week. A supposed source tells the magazine, "Chris went out with friends one night and hit up all the bars. The group were drinking and partied well into the early hours. The next day Chris looked like he had the hangover from hell."
The alleged insider further contends Hemsworth was "suffering" through his press interviews the following day, and when Pataky learned of her husband's wild night, she called to confront him. "Here she was thinking he was there to work and then he turns the trip into some sort of party," adds the questionable tipster. "She gave him a real earful, which was the last thing he needed with the way he was feeling."
The seemingly phony source goes on to say that the Thor star has a habit of taking an "entourage" of friends with him on press tours and partying with them late into the night. The suspicious insider also maintains that Hemsworth "barely sleeps" while on the road promoting movies because he's so busy drinking with his pals.
The magazine's premise simply isn't true. Gossip Cop reached out to a source close to the couple, who wasn't able to speak on the record, but assures us the publication's story is fabricated. Hemsworth hasn't been "boozing" non-stop while promoting his new movie, and the actor's wife isn't upset over his imaginary drinking problem.
Unfortunately, this wouldn't be the first time the tabloid has attempted to create fake drama in the couple's relationship. Last year, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for falsely claiming Hemsworth and Pataky were having marriage problems simply because the actress was spotted without her wedding ring. Around the same time the story emerged, the spouses were photographed showing a lot of PDA in Australia.
Back in October 2016, Gossip Cop called out Woman's Day for wrongly reporting Hemsworth and Pataky were "living separate lives" and headed for a split. Naturally, the spouses of eight years are still going strong. In reality, the unreliable outlet has zero insight into the couple's marriage, so it chooses to make up stories about them instead. This latest article alleging Hemsworth's "partying" is causing tension is total nonsense.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
