Chris Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky, is not furious with him because she supposedly has to prepare for Christmas on her own. The story, which is featured in one of the tabloids, is totally bogus. Gossip Cop can correct it.
Last week, Pataky shared an Instagram photo of her decorating a Christmas tree with her three kids at their home in Australia. Hemsworth was in New York City shooting a commercial for Hugo Boss. This prompted Woman's Day to publish a phony story claiming the Spanish actress was upset about her husband's absence.
"Yet again, Elsa's at home with the children while Chris gallivants around the globe," an alleged source tells the outlet. "It must be so hard for her, stuck in [Bryon Bay] where she has no close family, raising three kids under the age of seven." The supposed tipster adds, "Elsa gets very lonely, especially around the holidays. She knows she'll never be able to keep Chris at home for long, he's just not wired that way."
The tabloids have a recurring storyline about the spouses having issues over Hemsworth's work schedule. The actor himself admitted he sometimes struggles balancing work and family, but he's taken measures to handle it. In fact, Hemsworth told GQ last year that some of his "roles have suffered" because he puts more energy into spending time with his wife and kids. The Thor star also noted that Pataky and their kids usually come on location with him while he's shooting. Earlier this year, Hemsworth revealed that he'll be filming the next Thor sequel in Australia so he can be close to home.
The actor took a brief trip to New York in early December to film a commerical. Woman's Day is trying to make seem as if he ditched his family on Christmas. On Tuesday, Hemsworth was back in Byron Bay with his wife and kids. The happy family was spotted grabbing frozen yogurt at a shopping center. Pataky isn't all alone in the lead-up to Christmas. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who confirms that Hemsworth will be spending the holidays with his wife and kids, just as he does every year.
Unfortunately, Woman's Day insists on creating imaginary problems between the spouses. Last week, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Pataky was upset about Hemsworth "flirting" with female fans. Prior to that, the magazine said Pataky was furious over Hemsworth's alleged "boozing." The outlet has now concocted a Christmas-themed article. It's no more accurate.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
