Chris Hemsworth is not urging his brother Liam to “dump” Miley Cyrus, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can debunk the untrue story. We’re told it’s a “lie.”

According to HollywoodLife, Chris is “pushing [Liam] to get rid of Miley.” A so-called “insider” is quoted on the unreliable site as alleging Chris is “dropping all these hints that she’s not marriage material, but [Liam]’s not catching on at all.” The webloid then relates how Cyrus recently wore her engagement ring on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and explained that she prefers to wear jewelry “made out of gummy bears and cotton candy,” but was wearing her 3.5-carat diamond ring from Liam because she loves him. The repeatedly discredited site took that loving declaration from Cyrus and instead twisted it to claim, “Chris got the vibe that this, along with other incidents, proves the singer isn’t serious or committed.”

Actually, it proves the opposite. It shows that while Cyrus is not a fan of expensive jewelry, she wears it precisely because of her love and commitment to Liam. Regardless, Gossip Cop looked into the often unreliable outlet’s contention that Chris is urging Liam to “dump” Cyrus, and a source close to the situation calls the webloid’s article a big, fat “lie.”

Gossip Cop is not remotely surprised by this latest fabrication from HollywoodLies, as it’s known. Just a little more than two months ago, we crushed the outlet when it completely made up a story that alleged Cyrus was already married to Liam Hemsworth. Gossip Cop also shot the webloid when it concocted an entirely false report about Cyrus playing Tiffany Trump on “SNL.” Much like those articles from that site, the current one about Chris urging his brother Liam to “dump” Cyrus is yet another untruth.
