Chris Brown is looking for his soulmate, but the process seems to be slow-going.

Brown has been single since March, when on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran dumped him after the bombshell revelation that he had fathered a baby girl. The singer had only just found out about the paternity, which apparently was the result of a one-night stand with a woman named Nia Guzman. While Brown spent the next few months embracing being a father, he also relentlessly tried winning Tran back.

Those attempts ultimately failed, and Brown hasn’t seriously dated anyone since. Now with new priorities and a changed perspective, he’s adjusting to a new type of love life. And, as it turns out, it’s currently a lonely one.

“Being single is great if you want to be a horndog, but it’s boring when u want a soulmate,” Brown tweeted on Friday night. He didn’t elaborate on his feelings, and instead went on to post on Twitter and Instagram about the Paris terrorist attacks.

Interestingly, while Brown may be trying to shed his “horndog” ways, just a week ago he released a new song called “Sex You Back To Sleep.” As Gossip Cop reported, the risqué track is from his upcoming album, which is named Royalty after his daughter. The record is slated to be released on November 27, and is sure to feature more of Brown’s musings on sex and love. TELL US: What do you think of Brown saying he’s now looking for a soulmate?
