Chris Brown hoping that Hassan Jameel isn't playing Rihanna "for a fool" is yet another fake news story. The made-up claim is just the latest in HollywoodLife's series of fabricated reports about the singer and Jameel. Gossip Cop can expose the truth.
According to the repeatedly discredited site, Rihanna's "most notorious ex" is "weighing in" on her new romance and is "skeptical" of the relationship. A so-called "source" tells the outlet, "Chris still cares for Rihanna and keeps up with what she's doing," and after seeing the "make out pics" of her and Jameel, Brown would be "pissed" if the Saudi Arabian billionaire was "playing her for a fool." The seemingly concocted insider is further quoted by HollywoodLies, as it's been nicknamed, as saying, "Rih has been through hell and back and she deserves better. All Chris wants is for her to be happy."
There's no proof, however, that Brown has said anything about Rihanna's new romance, and frankly HollywoodLife has a history of manufacturing fake news. Significantly, it's hard to believe that the quotes from the webloid's "source" are remotely real. In one sentence, the alleged Brown insider says, "Chris still care for Rihanna," and then right afterwards supposedly adds, "Rih has been through hell and back." That would be like one of that blog's bogus Rihanna sources alternately referring to Brown in the space of two sentences as "Chris" and "Christopher." Still, Gossip Cop fact-checked the story, and a source close to the situation assures us the site's article is simply made-up.
As Gossip Cop has pointed out on numerous occasions, HollywoodLies has a habit of crafting fake news about Rihanna. Remember, this is the same outlet Gossip Cop called out a mere 24 hours ago for alleging Drake was urging Rihanna to "cut ties" with 'player' Jameel. And just a few weeks before that fabricated article, we corrected the webloid for falsely claiming Rihanna was pregnant with Brown's baby. Oddly, there's no mention in its latest tall tale about Rihanna being pregnant.
Those stories were all lies, and so is the current article about Brown hoping Jameel isn't playing Rihanna "for a fool." In fact, at times it seems HollywoodLies is playing its readers for fools.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
