Chloe Kohanski performed “White Wedding” on “The Voice” season 13 finale on Tuesday, joined by none other than Billy Idol. Check out the video below!

“White Wedding” was written by Idol himself and released in 1982. Although he had other songs that performed better on the Billboard charts, the track is considered to be one of his best-known offerings. Idol re-released “White Wedding” two more times in the 1980s, and it’s been featured in everything from TV shows to video games. Perhaps it’s most popular appearance came in the 1998 film The Wedding Singer, in which Idol also had a cameo.

Throughout her run on the NBC competition, Kohanski’s proven herself to be a huge fan of 80s music, making Idol a brilliant choice for her finale duet partner. Over the course of the season, the aspiring star has repeatedly chosen to sing music from iconic 80s’ acts, including Foreigner and Cyndi Lauper, among others. Her tastes also came through during Monday’s finals, for which Kohanski closed the show by performing “Bette Davis Eyes,” which was a chart-topping hit in 1981.

Following the performance, Kohanski’s coach Blake Shelton declared, “Ladies and gentlemen, we have a superstar standing on the stage right here. Please, America, let’s put this powerful, female, rock-and-roll human being in the winner’s circle tomorrow.” Prior to that, she and the country singer teamed up for “You Got It,” and earlier in the two-hour broadcast, Kohanski debuted an original song called “Wish I Didn’t Love You.” That performance also led Shelton to deem her a “superstar.”

Viewers may agree. “Wish I Didn’t Love You” ended up at number two on the iTunes singles chart when the voting window closed at noon on Tuesday. “Bette Davis Eyes” ranked seventh, and for both placements being within the top 10, Kohanski received the bonus multiplier applied to her votes. Interestingly, the contestant didn’t even start out on Shelton’s team, having originally picked Miley Cyrus to be her coach. Gossip Cop suspects she’s pretty grateful for the way things ultimately worked out. Watch video of the “White Wedding” performance with Idol below!
