Has Channing Tatum really forbid the Magic Mike Live dancers from having sex with women in the audience? That’s the outrageous claim being made in one of the tabloids, which says the actor has banned the male strippers from fraternizing with the customers. Gossip Cop, however, can exclusively set the record straight.

A Las Vegas show based on Tatum’s hit Magic Mike films recently opened at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The actor helped develop the production and even sat in on the audition process, and now the National Enquirer claims he has one major stipulation for the cast members. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Channing takes the business seriously. This isn’t some little show he put together to make a little fast money for fun. It is a business, and like all businesses, he has rules to make sure his employees are very professional at all times.”

The outlet’s dubious insider continues, “The show has a strict no-sex rule that is enforced. This is a first-class entertainment experience. This isn’t an excuse to get wild.” Despite how ridiculous this all sounds, Gossip Cop still checked in with source involved in the Las Vegas revue, and we’re exclusively assured there’s no such policy in place. A Tatum insider similarly assures us the tabloid’s report is complete “nonsense.” This simply isn’t an issue that’s been discussed.

In fact, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has had to debunk a bogus story surrounding the Las Vegas show. We previously busted the Enquirer’s sister publication, Star, for wrongly reporting Tatum’s wife Jenna Dewan accompanied him to the Magic Mike Live premiere because she didn’t trust him to be at the event alone. Gossip Cop also previously called out OK!, the Enquirer’s other sister outlet, for falsely claiming Tatum was “rude” and “grumpy” at a charity event. This latest article is equally untrue.
