Chance The Rapper sang “Finish Line” on this week’s “SNL.” The song is off his latest mixtape album Coloring Book. See the video below of Chance The Rapper’s performance of “Finish Line” on “Saturday Night Live.”

This marks Chance The Rapper’s second time as the musical guest on “SNL.” He made his “Saturday Night Live” debut almost exactly one year ago to the date. This is, however, the first time Chance The Rapper has performed “Finish Line” on TV.

Earlier in December, the singer asked his fans to help him choose songs to perform on the sketch comedy show. He tweeted, “I’ve been trying to perform EVERY song from Coloring Book on television once.” “I’ve done 5 so far. What do you want to see me do on #SNL?” he added on Twitter. And hours before appearing, Chance The Rapper tweeted, “Tonight’s a very important night for me. #ChanceOnSNL guess what songs I’m doing.”

When he last performed on the show, Chance The Rapper sang “Somewhere In Paradise” and “Sunday Candy.” For “Sunday Candy,” he was joined by members of his group The Social Experiment, which comprises the rapper, Peter Cottontale, Nate Fox, and Donnie Trumpet. Chance The Rapper’s 2015 appearance was also groundbreaking because he was the first independent artist — meaning a musician not tied to a record label — to perform on “Saturday Night Live.”
