Celebrities are sending prayers to the families of the 16 service members killed when a U.S. Marine Corps plane crashed in Mississippi on Monday. See Hollywood stars’ reactions and tweets below.

The KC-130 military aircraft, which the Marines use to refuel planes and carry cargo, went down in a field in Leflore County. The cause of the crash is currently unknown, but authorities believe the plan exploded mid-air. The situation is still being investigated.

Many celebrities are offering their condolences on Twitter in response to the tragedy, including Cher, who wrote, “ALL [American] Hearts Break For Families Of Marine Heroes Killed In Plane Crash. USMC. Semper Fi.” And Carson Daly said, “Heartbreaking. Praying for all the families affected. So sad.”

Alyssa Milano expressed, “My God. Devasting. Sending strength and love to all.” Apple CEO Tim Cook offered, “Saddened by the tragic loss of life in Mississippi. Additionally, President Donald Trump tweeted, “Marine Plane crash in Mississippi is heartbreaking. Melania and I send our deepest condolences to all!” First lady Melania Trump later stated, “My deepest sympathy to all of the military families who lost their loved ones in the Mississippi plane crash.
