Celebrities are reacting on Twitter to President Donald Trump’s first major speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, during which he threatened North Korea, criticized the Iran nuclear deal and urged U.N. members to unite together to fight global terrorism. See Hollywood stars’ tweets about the address below.

Trump had strong words of warning for North Korea at the gathering, telling the crowd, “The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.” In reference to Kim Jong-Un, the president added, “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime.” He later called the Iran nuclear deal “an embarrassment to the United States.”

One celebrity weighing in on Trump’s speech is Patton Oswalt, who joked, “This lost episode of the 1966 Batman TV show is terrific.” Bill O’Reilly noted, “Most fascinating part of Trump #UNGA speech: after lambasting socialism, he paused, perhaps waiting for applause. None came. Stony silence.” In reference to Trump dubbing Jong-Un “Rocket Man,” Olivia Wilde quipped, “As an American, and an Elton John fan, I am mortified.” And Ed Helms similarly offered, “Trump gave an interesting speech to the UN this morning, but he totally butchered the lyrics to Rocket Man. Sad!”

Meanwhile, Rosie O’Donnell bluntly stated, “trump the worst president anyone has ever seen.” George Takei said, “Watching this, I’m not sure if I should be more embarrassed for our country or frightened for it.” Kal Penn remarked, “The 2016 popular vote salutatorian delivered an 8th grade graduation salutatorian speech to the world. That was fun.” And Albert Brooks added, “At the U.N. Trump threatened to totally destroy North Korea. And then everybody had lunch.”

Josh Gad expressed, “Dear President Trump, please don’t blow up the world. – Sincerely, The World.” John Fugelsang wrote, “Every United Nations delegate at Trump’s UN speech is mentally drafting an apology note to George W. Bush.” Don Cheadle screamed, “Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Shut up!!!!!!” And Evan Rachel Wood asked, “What in the actual f**k?” Gossip Cop will update as more celebrities react to Trump’s first major U.N. speech.
