Celebrities are reacting to President Donald Trump telling Russian officials that former FBI Director James Comey is a “nut job,” and firing him has eased “great pressure.” See Hollywood stars’ tweets below.

The New York Times reported on Friday that Trump told Russian diplomats during a meeting in the White House earlier this month, “I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job. I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.” Some are suggesting that the president’s comments support the theory he fired Comey because of the FBI’s investigation into his possible collusion with Russia during the election. Trump’s administration, however, has vehemently denied those claims.

Among the celebrities reacting to Trump’s latest remarks is Patton Oswalt, who wrote the hashtags “#impeach #forf*ckssake.” Billy Eichner tweeted the poster for the 2014 animated talking-squirrel movie, The Nut Job, and joked, “Trump says Comey is a ‘nut job’ which is ridiculous because we all know this was the Nut Job.” Arsenio Hall said, “whats that old idiom… The Pot Calling The Kettle, ‘Nut Job’!? #smh. Once again, Orange Is The New Black.” And Josh Gad cracked, “Hi 2016, my name is 2017, please hold my beer…”

Along with a photo of a man kicking another man in the crotch, director Paul Feig quipped, “I bet Comey’s ready to give Trump a nut job right now.” George Takei cracked, “Trump calling Comey a ‘nut job’ is like me calling someone ‘a big Asian homo.’ It’d be the wok calling the kettle black.” “House of Cards” creator Beau Willimon‏ offered, “Trump bragged about obstructing justice to the very Russians that are being investigated. Trump is the nut job. And a criminal. #TrumpMustGo.” And suggesting that Trump may not have yet heard the report because he’s currently en route to Saudi Arabia, Trevor Noah said, “Let’s hope air force one doesn’t have in flight wifi. #NutJob.” Gossip Cop will update.
