Celebrities are reacting to the news that Fats Domino is dead. The legendary musician died on Tuesday in New Orleans at the age of 89. Now, Hollywood stars are sharing their reactions to Domino’s death.

Best known for the hits “Blueberry Hill,” “Ain’t It A Shame,” “I’m Walkin'” and “Whole Lotta Loving,” Domino was one of the first inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. During the course of his long career, he sold more than 110 million records. And in 1987, the legendary piano player and singer was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Grammys.

Reacting the Domonio’s death, LL Cool J tweeted, “Rest in paradise to Fats Domino. He paved the way for so many. I remember listening to his music as a little boy. #Fatsdomino.” Kid Rock‏ added, “We have lost a TRUE American treasure. God bless you Fats!! RIP.” And referencing his biggest hit, Samuel L. Jackson‏, “I found My Thrill on ‘Blueberry Hill’! RIP Fats Domino.”

Piers Morgan‏ noted, RIP Fats Domino, 89. The Rock’n’Roll legend who inspired so many other legends. #AintThatAShame.” Wendell Pierce‏ expressed, “Words fail me in this moment of deep heartache and sadness. We have lost a legend. One of my heroes. New Orleans’ Fats Domino is dead.” And Harry Connick, Jr.‏ shared, “RIP fats domino… you helped pave the way for new orleans piano players… see you on top of that blueberry hill in the sky.”

Alyssa Milano‏ simply tweeted, Rest In Peace, Fats Domino.” Meanwhile, Danny Trejo said, “The only man I would walk to New Orleans with, Fats Domino Rest In Peace.” Willie Geist‏ similarly remarked, “R.I.P., Fats. He laid the foundation for Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

“‘Ain’t That A Shame’. Fats Domino RIP,” shared Edgar Wright.
