Celebrities are tweeting in honor of Good Friday, the religious holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. See below Hollywood stars’ tweets in observance of the holy day.

Khloe Kardashian wrote, “On This Good Friday may we never forget the true meaning of Easter,” then cited a gospel song titled, “For when He was on the Cross, I was on His mind!” Kathie Lee Gifford quoted a Bible passage saying, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. John 15:13,” and added, “Jesus gave His life for us on Good Friday! PRAISE.” And Josh Gad expressed, “Wishing all of my friends who celebrate #GoodFriday a wonderful day!”

Patricia Heaton quoted a passage from the Bible that reads, “He, being known as one of us, humbled himself obedient to death, even death on a cross.” She added the hashtags, “#GoodFriday #ThankYouJesus.” Kate Walsh posted a photo of her two cats on top of her dining room table, and joked, “It’s always a Good Friday for Pablo and Billy.” And Tim Tebow also recited a Bible passage that says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 #GoodFriday.”

Mario Lopez posted a photo of a “One Way” sign on a pole casting the shadow of a cross behind it, and captioned the image, “Two signs same message. #GoodFriday.” Dolly Parton noted, “My Grandfather was a pastor. I can remember Good Friday and sunrise services with him still to this day.” Former MLB star Mike Piazza tweeted, “Blessed #GoodFriday to all.” Sharing a photo of a floral arrangement, Kris Jenner posted, “Happy Good Friday everyone!! Thank you @eddiezaratsian @tictockflorals for the gorgeous Easter garden!!! #easter #family #spring.”

Denis Leary joked, “Pretty sure Jesus wouldn’t have called it #GoodFriday, and Saturday was no day at the beach either. But #BigSurpiseSunday? Home run.” And Conan O’Brien similarly quipped, “I wish President Trump would stop calling ‘Good Friday’ ‘Tremendous Friday, the Greatest Friday you’ve ever seen.'”
