Celebrities are sending love and prayers to Florida as Hurricane Irma bears down on the state, as well as encouraging donations to relief efforts. See tweets from stars below.

After devastating the Caribbean, Hurricane Irma is making its way through the Florida Keys, and is currently expected to move up the peninsula’s west coast. Officials have spent the last few days ordering evacuations and warning of the grave danger the massive storm poses to anyone who chooses to ride it out. With extensive damage expected, and a fear of causalities, a number of celebs have taken to Twitter to comment on the situation.

Among those extending well-wishes is Kerry Washington, who tweeted, “Sending massive love and prayers to Florida. #Irma.” Maria Menounos wrote, “Pls pray hard everyone that this isn’t what they say it will be. Pray for a miracle!!” George Takei told his followers, “Please stay safe, everyone.” In a type-written message posted to his page, Enrique Iglesias said to fans, “Everyone who in the path of Hurricane Irma please stay safe this weekend!!!! Thanks to everyone sending prayers for those at risk. Let’s also keep in our thoughts & prayers those in the Caribbean already affected, as well as everyone in Texas rebuilding from Harvey! Save The Children has set up relief funds for survivors of both. Please consider donating.”

Ryan Rynolds was more blunt, writing on Twitter, “Let’s help Hurricanes Harvey and Irma to f*ck off. Support Americares.org or charity of your choice.” Along with the above photo, he elaborated on Instagram, saying, “Let’s help those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Meanwhile, Josh Gad revealed in a tweet, “No joke. @IMKristenBell just literally saved my parents, my brothers and entire family from #HurricaineIrma – you are an angel. I adore you.” Via Instagram, he explained, “So @kristenanniebell literally saved my parents and my entire family tonight from #hurricaneirma. When they were stranded in Florida, she got them a hotel room at her hotel in Orlando and saved them, my brothers, my sister-in-law and niece and nephew. They don’t make them like this girl. Thank you Kristen. You are truly an angel sent from above.”

Anderson Cooper, who is in Florida to cover the hurricane for CNN, noted, “Found a gas station on I-75 that is open. Police keeping things orderly. No lines, but gas rationed to $25 per vehicle.” J.P. Rosenbaum and wife Ashley Hebert of “The Bachelorette” were among those who evacuated by car. He remarked, “22 total travel hours, a dozen (+/-) potty breaks, 4 gas stops, a tired little [squirrel] & [bunny] (& momma), & we finally made it to ATL. #thatsucked.”< strong> Britney Spears tweeted, “Heartbroken to see the devastation left by #Irma in the Caribbean. Praying for those affected & hoping those in FL stay safe this weekend. Rob Lowe offered, “Many great memories in Florida. Love it there. Stay safe everyone.” Mark Wahlberg told followers, “Hoping everyone in Florida stays safe this weekend! My brother lives in Ft. Lauderdale, follow him @JWahlly for updates.”

“Float. Just please not in Florida. Be sane, be safe, survive. If you are still there, hunker down,” urged Stephen King. John Mayer posted, “Sending love by the hour to everyone in Florida. Please keep safe and strong.” President Donald Trump warned, “This is a storm of enormous destructive power, and I ask everyone in the storm’s path to heed ALL instructions from government officials.” And Barbara Streisand offered, “Florida, you’re in my prayers. I played my last concert there.”

Octavia Spencer was introspective, commenting, “As a nation, a world, we forget our differences & come together when we are forced to by mother nature. #HurricaneHarvey #HurricanIrma #sad.” Jada Pinkett Smith also observed, “There is a lot of devastation happening all around us through weather, politics… life. As my friend says… The spirit always wins! Let’s keep our spirits conditioned with light and love to weather these times.” Kim Kardashian shared, “Praying for everyone in Florida!

Kevin Jonas said, “Everyone already effected by #Irma I pray you are safe and everyone about to be hit in Florida you are in our constant prayers. Stay safe.” “Sending strength & love to so many people all over the world who are going through disastrous times right now, I pray rainbows come soon,” Katy Perry offered. Ashley Greene commented, “My heart is breaking for everyone in Florida right now. The updates are so incredibly hard to read. Stay safe and strong! #hurricaneirma.” And Ivanka Trump wrote, “Sending love and prayers to our brothers and sisters in #Florida. #HurricaneIrma.”

“Thinking and praying for Florida and those in the path of #hurricaneirma – stay safe and stay strong,” Ryan Seacrest tweeted. Florida native Victoria Justice said, “I hope that everyone in my home state of Florida is staying safe & taking the necessary precautions!” Hailey Baldwin shared, “Praying for you today Florida!
