Celebrities are reacting to a shooting at a church in Texas that has left more than two dozen dead and even more injured. On Sunday morning, a gunman identified as Devin Patrick Kelley opened fire inside the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, which is 30 miles east of San Antonio. Now, Hollywood stars are sharing their reactions to the latest senseless murders.

Rob Lowe‏ tweeted, “My family and I are praying for the community of #SutherlandSpringsTexas.” Reese Witherspoon expressed, “I am absolutely heartbroken over the shooting today in #SutherlandSprings Texas. #PrayForTexas #EnoughIsEnough #StopGunViolence.” Patricia Arquette‏ noted, “I don’t care the shooters name, race, religion or political party. The only way to impact mass shootings is #GunControl.” “Homegrown terrorism is still terrorism! WE MUST ACT!!!” added Gabrielle Union.

Britney Spears offered, “My heart breaks over the news coming out of Texas. My prayers are with the Sutherland Springs community.” Sarah Silverman stated, “When a plane crashes, air travel becomes exponentially safer bc of the lessons learned. But 1 mass shooting after another… nothing.” “Where’s the next mass shooting gonna be? Any guesses? Should we try to do anything we can to prevent it? No? Ok cool. Good luck out there!” wrote an exasperated Billy Eichner.

Cobie Smulders urged, “This has to stop. Something has to be done #GunControl. Meanwhile, Kate Walsh admitted, “I have no words.” In response to Donald Trump tweeting, “May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene,” Samantha Ronson replied, “They were literally ‘with G-d.’ They were massacred in a church. Put your money where your tiny hands are we need common sense gun control.”

Josh Groban pointed out, “Prayers are what the victims were doing. If you respond to these attacks with prayers but no action, you are protecting the next murderer.” Mark Ruffalo shared, “Love to the dear folks and families and friends to those lost in today’s Sutherland Springs shooting.
