At least 100 people have died and 400 more injured, including many children, in a suspected chemical gas attack in Syria on Tuesday. Celebrities are now reacting on Twitter to the horrific event. See Hollywood stars’ tweets below.

Airstrikes released toxic gas into Idlib province on Tuesday morning, marking the deadliest attack in the country’s six-year civil war. Many world leaders have deemed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his regime to be responsible for the act, but the the government is denying involvement, instead blaming the assault on “armed terrorist organizations.”

One celebrity weighing in on the tragic incident was Alyssa Milano, who wrote, “Babies. They are using chemical weapons against babies. I can’t. There are no words.” Mia Farrow said, “Chemical attack kills dozens in Syria incl children. Is this where world does nothing again?” And Piers Morgan tweeted, “Syria’s children being gassed to death & Britain’s leaders are engaged in furious national debate about bloody Easter eggs.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea Handler expressed, “Shouldn’t the ‘president’ be denouncing innocent Syrians being gassed? No, of course not. He’d rather talk about being Bob the Builder.” John Fugelsang similarly said, “If Assad gasses any more people in Syria Trump plans to forcefully respond with the harshest possible condemnation of Barack Obama.” And Matt Bomer offered his support to all the victims of many recent world tragedies, saying, “I hope everyone in London/Syria/Turkey/St. Petersburg & around the world knows they r in my thoughts & prayers whether I tweet about it or not.”
