Celebrities are reacting to House Speaker Paul Ryan announcing the Republicans’ healthcare bill was pulled. See reaction tweets below from Hollywood stars to Obamacare staying the same for the being.

As Gossip Cop reported, on Friday Ryan held a press conference about the healthcare plan being pulled because there wasn’t enough Republican support to repeal and replace Obamacare, as promised by Donald Trump during the presidential election. Now stars are celebrating that the Republicans’ bill, also known as the American Healthcare Act, didn’t have enough support to go up for a vote. Alyssa Milano exclaimed, “We did it!! ‘GOP health care bill withdrawn, House in recess.'” Samantha Ronson first noted, “Obamacare is here to stay” before tweeting that Ryan should “eat a bag of s**t.”

Hillary Clinton shared, “Today was a victory for all Americans.” “Congratulations to the #Resistance for win on Health Care. Decency won, driven by you! Humbled to stand shoulder to shoulder with you!” wrote Mark Ruffalo. And Josh Malina taunted, “What kind of day has it been, @realDonaldTrump?”

Albert Brooks expressed, “Watching Paul Ryan still blame Obama. Pitiful. They can’t even be man enough to admit they control it now.” In response to GQ writing an article titled, “This Is Donald Trump’s Worst Day as President,” Drew Carey wrote, “On the bright side, MY day is going f**king GREAT!” “Thank you to those house republicans who were brave enough to know that party line isn’t an excuse for bad legislation for all Americans,” added Josh Groban.

Jim Carrey posted a photo with the caption, “Trumpcare: The Shart of the Deal,” mocking the name of the president’s similar-sounding book. On that same theme, Josh Gad cracked, “Apparently ‘the art of the deal’ means coming up with something so awful that you get everyone to collectively not want to go near it.” Sophia Bush urged, “Keep calling/tweeting/faxing/writing! IT’S WORKING #resist.” “THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! #resistance,” Debra Messing also expressed.

Rather explicitly, Patton Oswalt tweeted, “Ayn Rand’s ghost materializes in @SpeakerRyan’s office. Stretches her labia like pup tent. ‘Into the death-bag with you.’ Ryan submits.” Meanwhile, Billy Eichner mocked, “Don’t worry guys – I have a plan for healthcare that’ll I’ll be revealing EXCLUSIVELY on the VMAs!” And John Legend said, “Thank you to all those who called their representatives and resisted ACA repeal in other ways. There’s more to do, but this is a real win.”

Rosie Perez offered, “No time to gloat. Time to thank #electedofficials who would not vote yes #Trumpcare. Time to act #nonpartisan & fix not repeal #Obamacare.” Stephen King felt, “No vote. The Repubs decided if they couldn’t win the game, rather than play they would take their bats & ball & go home. Typical behavior.” “Turns out this was all a big misunderstanding. Trump told Ryan he wanted to retweet, not retreat,” joked George Takei. Gossip Cop will continue to update as more celebrities react to the Republicans’ healthcare bill being pulled and Obamacare staying in place.
