Prince has died at age 57. Celebrities are now reacting to the tragic death of the music icon. See celebrity tributes and reactions below.

As Gossip Cop reported, Prince died on Thursday at his Paisley Park mansion in Minnesota. Police arrived to his estate early in the morning after a medical emergency was reported at the singer’s home recording studio. An official cause of death has yet to be revealed, but as Gossip Cop also noted, the musician was rushed to the hospital less than a week ago after becoming ill on a private jet.

His plane, which was flying from Georgia to Minnesota, had to make an emergency landing in Illinois, but the singer was released from the hospital shortly after. His rep later said the singer had been suffering from the flu, which is why he had canceled scheduled concerts earlier this month.

Now, in the wake of his shocking death, Will Smith posted on Facebook, “I am stunned and heartbroken. I just spoke with him last night. Today, Jada & I mourn with all of you the loss of a beautiful poet, a true inspiration, and one of the most magnificent artists to ever grace this earth.”

Katy Perry tweeted, “And just like that…the world lost a lot of magic  Rest in peace Prince! Thanks for giving us so much.” Along with crying emojis, Demi Lovato wrote, “Omg. RIP Prince.” She added, “This f***ing sucks… Prince on repeat all day. Just like I did with Michael and Whitney.” Jennifer Lopez said, “Shocked and soooo sad!!”

Madonna wrote, “He Changed The World!! A True Visionary. What a loss. I’m Devastated.” Kevin Hart tweeted, “I’m floored by this one…..Heaven got an amazingly talented angel today. You will be missed man!” Reese Witherspoon wrote, “Today we lost a true artist. Thank you #Prince for all the music you put into this world.”

Kevin Jonas said, “If the news about prince is true it will be a terrible loss of such an amazing music legend and icon.” Nick Jonas wrote, “One of my biggest inspirations. A true icon. You will be missed. Sad sad news today.” James Franco expressed, “LEGEND… I wish I could have expressed my love for him before he left.” Meanwhile, Mike Tyson simply stated, “RIP Prince.”

How tragic,” while Katie Couric expressed, “So sad to hear about this terrible loss, Prince was a visionary musician and artist.”

Dwayne Johnson said, “Unbelievable just heard about PRINCE. Strength and light to his family/loved ones. One of my favs and a true pioneering artist. RIP brotha.” Russell Crowe asked, “Prince? Michael Keaton, who starred in the 1989 Batman film for which Prince composed the album, said, “No one, no one, no one like Prince. Incomparable.” Lindsay Lohan said, “Thank you #Prince for all of your inspiration and sharing your incredible talents with the world. You will be incredibly missed.” Keith Urban tweeted, “Just heard about Prince. can’t believe it.”
