Celebrities are reacting to the knife attack at the Ohio State University campus on Monday. At around 9:40 a.m. EST, the suspect rammed a vehicle into the school’s Watts Hall, then emerged from the car with a large machete before being shot dead by police. The school initially sent out a tweet at 9:56 a.m., informing its students of an active shooter on campus. By 11:30 a.m., the university announced that the scene was secure. At least ten people have been transported to a local hospital, with one in critical condition. See stars’ reactions below.

LeBron James expressed, “Praying for all students on @OhioState campus!! Please find safety asap!!” Debra Messing wrote, “Sending condolences to to all those who were hurt at Ohio state. The ONLY saving grace – he didn’t have a gun. My heart with all the families.” Kyle Richards tweeted, “So sad and scary! Let’s all say a prayer for Ohio. This has to stop!” Donnie Wahlberg offered, “Sending love and prayers to all #Buckeyes #PrayForOSU #OhioStateUniversity.” And Alyssa Milano said, “Ohio state! Stay strong! Take care of each other! My thoughts and love are with you.”

Shannen Doherty wrote, “Praying for all at #Ohio State University. Run. Hide Fight.” She added, “It’s so disturbing that we lived in a world that now has a slogan… Run. Hide. Fight. No one should have to. #Ohio.” Arnold Schwarzenegger expressed, “My thoughts are with the victims, their families and friends, and the entire Ohio state community today.” Meanwhile, Jenna Fischer tweeted along with a link to a Facebook Safety Check, “For those in Columbus Ohio you can mark yourself SAFE and check for loved ones here.” Gossip Cop will continue to update as more celebrities react to the shooting at Ohio State University.
