A terrorist attack near the Houses of Parliament in London on Wednesday has resulted in multiple deaths and injuries. Celebrities are now reacting to the tragic events on Twitter. See Hollywood stars’ tweets below.

Britain’s Parliament was placed on lockdown after an assailant drove into the fence outside the building and stabbed a police officer before being shot by authorities. Several more people were reportedly mowed down by a car on Westminster Bridge, but it’s currently unclear if the same person was responsible for both attacks. London’s Metropolitan Police have confirmed there were several casualties, including officers, but haven’t disclosed further details. A doctor at St. Thomas’ Hospital said at least one woman has died and others are seriously injured in what’s being described as a “terrorist incident.”

Among the celebrities reacting to the attack was Josh Gad, who wrote, “I am so horrified and heartbroken by the events in #london and #parliment. Please be safe everyone!!!” Ellen DeGeneres tweeted, “Sending love to everyone in London.” Niall Horan said, “Thinking of London this morning from LA. Stay safe everyone!!”

Meanwhile, Lily Allen expressed, “London I love you x.” Kyle Richards offered, “My [heart] and prayers are with London right now.” Christina Milian conveyed, “Heartbroken. Just heard about the London attacks. Keeping everyone in my thoughts & prayers. #PrayforLondon #IamLondon.” And after a fan expressed concern for Lin-Manuel Miranda, who’s currently filming a movie in London, the Hamilton star responded, “All safe here. Heart and thoughts in Westminster.”

Asa Butterfield wrote, “My heart goes out to all the victims in London, as well as the family/friends of the brave officer who gave his life protecting others.” Pink noted, “I’ve just this second turned on the news. My heart is hurting for the people in London who have been affected by yet another tragedy.” And Rob Lowe stated, “Stay strong London.”

Additionally, Brandi Glanville tweeted, “Praying for those in London.” Alyssa Milano said, “London! My thoughts of strength and love are being sent to you. Hold on to each other.” And Nicki Minaj wrote, “May God protect everyone in London. Hate hearing this sad news. Sending my condolences to the victims’ families.”

UPDATE: Four people have been confirmed dead and at least 20 were injured in the attack. The man believed to be the assailant and a police officer were among those killed.
