Camila Cabello gave a politics-infused performance of “Havana” on Friday’s “Today” show, live from New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza. Watch the full video below!

The Cuban-born former Fifth Harmony singer released the Latin inspired “Havana” in August. The track will be featured on her upcoming debut solo album, The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving., which has yet to be given an official release date. In addition to “Havana,” which features rapper Young Thug, the chart-topping “I Have Questions,” “OMG” and “Crying In The Club” will also appear on the highly-anticipated pop record. As Gossip Cop reported, Cabello performed “Crying In The Club,” the album’s first single, live at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, marking her first ever awards show performance as a solo artist.

Of course, as it was widely reported, Cabello quit Fifth Harmony last December, nearly a year ago now. The four remaining band members, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui released a statement at the time on Instagram discussing Cabello’s departure from the group, writing, “You have been there with us since the beginning, you’ve supported us, and with your love and support, we will continue on.” And for Cabello’s part, she said of her departure from the band, “As scary as it is to take the leap, I am excited and full of joy because I know that no matter what happens, I am following my heart.”

Post-Fifth Harmony, the former “X Factor” contestant has achieved noteworthy solo success, collaborating with the likes of Major Lazer, Shawn Mendes and Quavo. And during her concert this morning, the singer used “Havana” to make a political statement in support of Dreamers.
