Calvin Harris has NOT told Taylor Swift to “stop obsessing over ex-boyfriends,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can bust the claim. We’re told it’s “fictional garbage.”

According to HollywoodLife, Harris wants Swift to “know that she’s got to shake it off when it comes to her exes and their lives post-relationship,” because “he’s fed up with her obsessing over other dudes, and needs her to stop ASAP.” The site claims Swift “has some beef with ex-boyfriend Harry Styles,” which is supposedly upsetting Harris. “Calvin wants her to move forward and focus on what she’s got: devotion and love from him,” writes the webloid.

A so-called “source” is quoted as telling the outlet, “He doesn’t like when she mentions her exes; he wants her to not talk about them even if it is throwing shade at them. He wants her to be totally devoted to him. He gets jealous thinking that she still may have feelings for people like Harry or others she has dated. It’s upsetting to him.”

What’s actually “upsetting” is this new Harris-Swift-Styles storyline HollywoodLies is peddling. On Friday, Gossip Cop debunked a different report from the webloid that wrongly alleged Harris was worried Swift still had feelings for Styles. But part of the site’s M.O. is taking a topic and creating multiple stories about, and that’s what we have going on here now.

Gossip Cop wouldn’t be surprised if HollywoodLife tries to continue the narrative with several more angles. But they won’t be true. The webloid doesn’t have reliable Swift sources and never has. That’s why we were just told the site is “spreading fictional garbage again.” There’s a reason why Swift’s own best friend, Selena Gomez, has called them the “worst.”
